About Us

About us

One of the most difficult situations any bereaved family can face is when a loved one passes away overseas and needs to be repatriated for cremation or interment. The legal processes and paperwork involved in transporting human remains between countries can seem daunting and is a difficult thing to handle when you are coping with grief.

Omega International Repatriations offers a complete repatriation service aimed at taking the burden off grieving families and ensuring the body of the deceased gets to its destination as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our bespoke services cover repatriation out of Nigeria to any location in the world and into Nigeria.

Working on behalf of families based within Nigeria or abroad, we can take charge of obtaining and processing all necessary repatriation documents relevant to the country of destination, including handling health waiver applications. We will liaise with funeral directors and authorities overseas to take care of all the logistics arrangements for moving the deceased and manage all stakeholders to ensure a seamless service is provided.

Whether human remains are being brought back to Nigeria or sent abroad, we guarantee to handle the transportation with the utmost professionalism, care and respect. We will work closely with families, authorities, funeral homes and logistics agents to establish a realistic timeframe for repatriation and ensure the human remains are brought home in time for any funeral service planned.

For repatriation into Nigeria, we will take care of customs clearance, collection and delivery either to any of our mortuary facilities or to the family’s chosen funeral home. If you choose us to make your funeral arrangements, we will also offer up to 30 days of free refrigeration storage as part of our repatriation package.
